"Archive" Button - The button located at the left of the button bar along the bottom of the main window. Clicking this button enables you to either create an archive of the destination sounds or save the selected sound to a System 7 sound.
Archive File - A file that contains all of a destination file's sound resources. This file can be used to restore the sounds to their original program or file.
Bullet - The symbol placed next to a sound in the Destination File List that has been replaced.
"Close" Button - The buttons located under both list boxes. When clicked, they close or clear the listed sound resources.
Destination List - The list of sounds from the Destination File located on the left half of the Agent Auido Pro main window.
Destination File - The program or file that is opened in the left list box in the main window. This file contains the sounds you are customizing.
"Move/Replace" Button - The button with an arrow pointing to the left in the main window of Agent Audio. Clicking on this button causes the selected sound to be replaced.
Replacer Agent - Small applications that contain your custom sounds and will instantly replace the sounds of an application
Resource Names - The internal names of sound resources within sounds, programs, or files.
Resource Numbers - Unique internal identification numbers given to sound resources within sounds, programs, or files.
"Revert" Button - The button located under the Destination File List labelled "Revert." This button returns the Destination File to its last saved state.
"Save" Button - Located under the Destination File box and labelled "Save," this button saves the changes you have made in the Destination File.
Sound (snd) Resources - Macintosh sound files embedded within a program or file. These are what Agent Audio lets you customize.
Sound Format - a proprietary "type" of sound presented with certain data to make the sound compatible with certain systems.
Source Files - The sounds listed in the right listbox of the main window. These sounds are what you will use to customize the destination file.
System 7 Sound (SND) - The standard format for Macintosh sound files that play when you double-click them.
Target File - The program or file for which a Replacer Agent is created.
